What is Botulinum Toxin?
Botulinum Toxin is a purified protein which works by temporarily blocking the nerve activity to the targeted muscles allowing them to temporarily relax, lessening the effect of facial wrinkles and creating a fresher, smoother appearance.
Do Anti Wrinkle Treatments hurt?
The discomfort experienced is minimal. No local anaesthetic is required. Any small bumps at the site of injection usually resolve within 30 minutes.
